…are layered dice (3) featuring a shining band of pearlescent color as the center layer, nestled between two clear transparent outer layers.
When viewed from the side they appear as 3 layers, but when viewed from the top or bottom, the appearance changes and they suddenly look semi-solid with numbers that seem to float above a colored surface! View them from an angle, and suddenly they look like they’re 2-layers! Nothing beats the beauty of a Neutron Die!

These overtook Stained Glass as my favorite set of anything ever made, dice or otherwise! (although I may be a bit biased, as I helped John design these, but I also didn’t know he took the idea and ran with it until I opened them in my Mystery Dice 2.0 Kickstarter box! Definitely an emotional moment!) A great set of dice, each with their own distinct look thanks to the colors, and a must have for any martial arts based character!
I do taekwondo, not karate, but these dice really help me feel like the real-life-monk I am training to be! I love how the dice can look like the belt color all the way through based on the orientation of how it rolls, or the dice is wearing the belt itself! I definitely recommend getting this set in the 11 dice variation to be sure you get all the belt colors. It will also make a great gift for any martial arts students in your life.
