    Hi John,

    My family loves the game so far (every one plays wife, son 12yrs, daughter 11yrs old), we played it as soon as it came after the KS. We have not played yet with the expansion sets that came later. With the holiday’s approaching I am looking forward to getting a big map setup. To that end I was experimenting with the new map tiles. I think I understand most of them, the tunnel, the 2nd spawn point, the crisscross tile. The one that I cannot seem to wrap my head around in the 4-way tiles. I don’t quite get how the yellow monsters are supposed to move. I keep waiting to see something in the errata or expansion notes about the map tiles. I think it would be nice to have a brief explanation or even diagram of monster movement for a few of these just to make it clear.

      That’s a great idea. I’ll see if I can get something like that worked up and posted to BGG or the Errata guide sometime soon. The 4-way works exactly like the switcher/cris-cross tile as far as yellow goes. Yellow will go straight through the intersection while red will wrap around. Make sure the net result leads toward the exit. With 4-ways and switchers it’s possible to accidentally create infinite loops or loops that send monsters back out the entrance, so you have to be careful there. It can be funny, but doesn’t make for a great gaming experience. : P
